The trident is a weapon traditionally associated with District Four, due to the district being heavily based on fishing and the associated industries. In Tears of Blood, a trident was the favoured weapon of District Four tribute Elia Zervakos, which she used to kill both Boston Williams, of District Ten, and Hyre Fletching of District Two.
