Oak Loaker was the District Eight male who participated in the 24th Hunger Games. Oak Loaker did not kill any tributes, and although he did last longer than his partner, he did not make it to the final eight. Oak unfortunately fell victim to Boston William's insanity, being choked with his bare hands in brutal fashion. Oak Loaker is most known for the theme of abuse in his chapters, as he often commented about the beatings inflicted on his mother and sister by his deranged father.
